Up until November of 2008 scientists had only determined DNA's double helix structure. But now they have been able to sequence the full genetic code. The two men that were used for this are one african and one asian. Although this has been achieved there are still some gaps in other ethnic groups seeing as both men are from European descent. Because of this there are some differences in how other people could have different diseases, different immunities, or be susceptible. Althought there are still some gaps this is still a major achievment in the goal of creating "taylor made" DNA.
